Futures Guide

This page explains how futures trading works on Fittyx. Fittyx lists perpetual futures alongside spot, options and copy trading. The trading terminal requires a logged-in account.

What is a futures contract on Fittyx?

A futures contract is a derivative. You agree to buy or sell an underlying crypto asset at a market-driven price without posting the full notional value as collateral. Gains and losses are settled in the contract quote asset, typically USDT on Fittyx.

Fittyx futures products are perpetual contracts: they do not expire on a fixed calendar date the way traditional commodity futures do. Funding and mark price keep the contract close to the spot market. For funding and mark-price details, see the Perpetual Contracts Guide.

How to start trading futures

Complete these steps before you place an order. Contract specifications, available pairs and fees are shown in the futures terminal after you sign in.

  1. Create an account or sign in.
  2. Complete identity verification if the platform asks for it.
  3. Deposit digital assets to your account.
  4. Move funds to the futures wallet when the terminal requires a separate balance.
  5. Open the Futures page, choose a pair and leverage, then submit a market or limit order.

Mechanics you should know

Contract size

Each listed pair has its own contract size and tick size. Check the contract specifications in the futures terminal for the instrument you trade.

Leverage and margin

Leverage lets you open a larger position than your posted margin. Initial margin is the collateral required to open a position. Maintenance margin is the minimum collateral needed to keep it open. If equity falls to the maintenance level, the position can be liquidated.

Mark price and unrealised PNL

Fittyx marks open futures positions to a mark price, not only the last traded price. Unrealised profit and loss and liquidation checks use the mark price so that brief spikes are less likely to force a close.

Settlement

Perpetual futures on Fittyx do not settle on an expiry date. You close a position by submitting an opposite order, or the engine may close it if margin is no longer sufficient. Realised PNL is credited or debited to your futures wallet when the position is closed.

Basis

Basis is the difference between the futures price and the underlying spot price. On a perpetual contract this gap is usually small and is influenced by funding. A premium or discount does not by itself mean the contract is mispriced.

Risks

Leverage magnifies both profit and loss. You can lose more than your initial margin and have positions closed automatically. This guide is educational and is not investment advice. Read the User Agreement and Security Guide before you trade.

Frequently asked questions

What futures products does Fittyx offer?

Fittyx offers perpetual crypto futures in the futures terminal. They do not expire on a calendar date. Spot, options and copy trading are separate products on the same platform.

Do I need to post 100% of the position as collateral?

No. Futures on Fittyx use margin. You post a fraction of the notional as collateral, set by the leverage and margin requirements of the contract. Higher leverage means a smaller margin and a higher liquidation risk.

How is liquidation determined?

The engine compares your position equity with the maintenance margin, using the mark price. If equity is no longer enough, the position can be liquidated. Keep extra margin in the futures wallet if you want more buffer.

Where can I see contract specifications and fees?

Pair list, leverage range, contract size and trading fees are shown in the futures terminal after you sign in. Legal terms are in the User Agreement in the website footer.

How is futures trading different from spot on Fittyx?

Spot trading exchanges the asset itself. Futures trading is a leveraged derivative: you go long or short without holding the full notional, and you can be liquidated. Funding may apply on perpetual contracts.

How can I get help with futures trading?

Use the Help Center, the in-site support entry, or the contact details in the footer. Support is available 24/7. This page does not replace the contract specifications shown in the terminal.
